The Export Communications Review is a service delivered by the British Chamber of Commerce and provides companies with impartial and objective advice about addressing language and cultural barriers when trading with overseas markets.
The review is carried out by a registered Export Communications Consultant. These consultants are experienced in the language and cultural needs of international trade and have been specially trained in the skills of Export Communications Reviews. The Consultants work hand-in-hand with UKTI / RLN East international communications staff, who are responsible for all follow-up to their recommendations.
In the review, a company learns where they are strong, where they are weak and where they can improve their current systems for dealing with the issues that arise.
The ECR review is subsidised by the Government. The initial review costs £150 + VAT (£87) instead of £500 + VAT (for UKTI clients and eligible companies with fewer than 250 employees.)
