These general business materials were created on behalf of the East of England Development Agency for the purposes of supporting language & culture skills development of companies across the region. The materials aim to increase the competitiveness of the region's businesses by providing a valuable resource which employers may use at their discretion as part of their training programmes.

The materials are available in French, Spanish, Italian, German, Polish, English & Bulgarian at up to 4 different levels, designated stages 1,2 ,3 & 4 respectively. Each stage represents approximately 50hrs of learning. They were developed by 2 projects - the general French, German, Spanish & Italian in 2004 by the Language & Culture Programme (LCB) of the University of Luton, and the agrifood English, French, Polish, Italian & Bulgarian materials by the HARVEST project funded under the Leonardo Language Competences programme.

You have two ways of accessing the resources you require. If you know which stage you are at you can jump straight through to that stage and select your preferred language. If you do know not what stage you are at or have yet to begin a course you can select your preferred language to begin viewing the materials.

These materials belong to the East of England Development Agency and its designated HARVEST partners.
