Where: St John's Innovation Centre, Cambridge
RLN East (UKTI) is holding the second in its series of culture workshops for 2011-12, focussed on Ukraine. The workshop will take place at St John's Innovation Centre on the outskirts of Cambridge on Thur 1 Mar from 014:30 to16:30 following the Russia Masterclass.
The workshop, which is free to participating UKTI clients, is an opportunity to hear from our UKTI colleague from Kyiv and a case study company. An informal discussion session is also built into the workshop.
Aimed at company staff planning to work with Ukrainians or those with some experience of trading in Ukraine, this workshop will give you and your organisation the facts to:
• Understand the main elements of Ukranian business culture & environment
• Understand meeting timescales and negotiating styles
• Discuss situations which you have come across and hear the experience of other participants
• Appreciate the most appropriate responses to specific incidents and issues
Our main speaker is Niall Cullens of UKTI Ukraine.
Niall is head of UK Trade & Investment in Ukraine, based in Kyiv. He is responsible for promoting and developing business opportunities for UK companies in Ukraine.
